Fire Protection Inspector - Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform NFPA 25 based inspections on wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, standpipe systems, fire hydrants, and fire pumps.
  • Conduct NFPA 72 based inspections on fire alarm systems, including all components.
  • Inspect fire extinguishers based on NFPA 10 guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot wet-based fire systems and describe issues to owners and service managers for repairs.
  • Monitor and assure progress and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Submit inspection reports to administrative personnel in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years' experience performing inspections required.
  • Vocational or industry trade school a plus.
  • Working knowledge of operational characteristics of fire protection systems.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 10, 25, and 72 required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
