Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient rigging of equipment and materials in various construction and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge to ensure that all lifting and moving tasks are performed safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle rigging equipment for lifting operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Operate heavy machinery including cranes, backhoes, loaders, concrete mixers, front loader trucks, water trucks, and farm machinery as required.
• Collaborate with team members to plan lifts and ensure proper load distribution.
• Inspect rigging equipment for wear or damage before use, reporting any issues immediately.
• Dig trenches or holes as needed to facilitate rigging operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in training new team members on rigging techniques and equipment operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to rigging and heavy machinery.
• Ability to operate cranes, backhoes, loaders, concrete mixers, front loader trucks, water trucks, and farm machinery effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and supervisors.
