Summary
As a Freezer Selector, you will be a vital part of our distribution center team, responsible for efficiently picking and packing orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Join our team and play a key role in meeting our customers' needs with precision and efficiency.
Position Requires:
- Select items and prepare them for shipment within a 0 degree freezer
- Use warehouse equipment (electric pallet jack)
- Use PickRight to identify slot location, product description and quantity required for each order.
- Pulling orders in the order received, identifying items requested, pulling items from stock and placing items on carts or pallets in an orderly fashion.
- Wearing the proper safety equipment (boots) - freezer suit provided.
- Be able to pick up to 50lbs
- Have Current Hi-Lo Certification – or be willing to obtain one
- Be able to withstand freezing temperature for long periods of time
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse setting. Exposure to extreme cold is consistent, including sub-zero temperatures for entire shift. Proper safety equipment will be provided by SAS per request. The floor surface is concrete and wood.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Positions are on:
Day Shift (10:30am - 6:30pm) Sunday - Thursday
Night Shift (6:30pm - 2:30am) Sunday - Thursday
Additional hours may be required to fulfill job duties and position expectations.
