We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Accounting Specialist to join our construction company. Responsibilities include managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing administrative support to the CFO. The ideal candidate will preferably have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, relevant experience, proficiency in accounting and payroll software, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Accounts Payable.
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
Accounts Payable
- Monitor AP email box for invoices.
- Request W-9s & set up new vendors/subcontractors.
- Enter invoices in hh2.
- Set up invoices and subcontractor billings for bi-monthly check runs.
- Print and mail checks.
- Monitor subcontractor payment hold list.
Accounts Receivable
- Collect all incoming payments and prepare them for deposit.
- Record all payments in Sage.
Weekly Payroll
- Assure all timecards are submitted timely.
- Review timecards for accuracy.
- Set up and process payroll.
- Set up payroll for onboarding and offboarding.
- Upload craft certified payrolls into LCP Tracker.
Credit Cards
- Order Credit Cards.
- Download monthly billing spreadsheets and upload them in hh2.
- Organize spreadsheets and provide emailed copies to Management.
- Email list of charges to employees.
- Troubleshoot any issues and make sure they are complete in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Procore, SAGE and hh2 experience would be a plus.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to problem solve and develop outcomes with multiple stakeholders.
