Responsibilities/Functions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction), stand; walk, (stand for long periods of time) handle, or feel; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects. The employee must frequently work or walk on uneven ground and is required to wear steel toed boots at all times. It is mandatory that the employee wear approved personal protective equipment. Employee will perform a variety of duties while exposed to outside elements, working at heights, and confined or enclosed spaces.

Responsibilities/Functions
- Use air arc torch to cut scrap pieces to size, as necessary, weighs identifies and segregates scrap, maintains required records.
- Basic stick welding, Mig a plus.
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Keeping safe is the highest priority.
- Candidate should have a basic welding aptitude and 1 year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge and use of hand tools of the trade- Grinders, tape measure, torches, plasma cutting torch, powered saws, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Can take and apply direction from supervisor.
- Workers must provide their own safety footwear and the ability to wear a respirator.
- Workers must have reliable transportation or be able to access jobsites in any location.
- The applicant must be able to pass a drug test and have a valid state issued driver’s license. Saturdays are required periodically as needed.
