SCA is a faith-based preschool in Mauldin, South Carolina, dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn and grow. Our mission is to cultivate a community of creative followers of Christ who encourage and support one another as we carry out this vital ministry.
We are currently seeking fun, energetic individuals with a passion for Jesus and a love for children to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience working with infants and demonstrate a calm, nurturing spirit. Prioritizing the needs of children, multitasking effectively, and fostering positive relationships are key to success in this role.
Position Details:
- Location: Mauldin Campus
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am until 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Share and communicate the love of Jesus with students, parents, and coworkers
- Respond lovingly to children’s needs while creating a safe and nurturing environment
- Accurately document children’s daily activities and developmental progress
- Build strong relationships with parents through clear, positive communication
- Maintain student records and evaluations
- Keep classrooms clean, organized, and professionally managed
- Follow all DSS and DHEC regulations
- Attend staff and curriculum meetings
- Meet continuing education requirements as set by DSS
- Engage in physical tasks such as stooping, bending, and lifting children as needed
Requirements:

- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed daycare setting
- Must be 21 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Friendly, positive, and joyful demeanor
- High energy and a team-player attitude, working well with staff, children, and parents
- Ability to independently care for up to five infants
