This position is located in the Bureau of Operations Support/Training
Under limited supervision, responsible for the planning, designing, implementing, conducting, and coordinating training programs for Healthcare Quality.
Responsible for designing lessons, to include the selection and organization of content, methods, and materials needed to accomplish learning objectives. Facilitates training to small and large groups. Collaborates with Quality and Systems Management Section and the Compliance Assistance Unit to assist in development of training materials to be utilized by Healthcare Quality staff and staff within facilities regulated by Healthcare Quality. Attends and actively participates in all section, bureau, and Healthcare Quality meetings as appropriate, providing up to date information regarding training issues. Responsible for the completion of special projects at management's request, to include making recommendations for system improvements.
Responsible for maintaining Healthcare Quality's Training Library. ln collaboration with the Training Manager, responsible for identifying new content for Training Library. Performs other duties as assigned, to include, but not limited to: participating in emergency preparedness and response, and is designated as an essential employee, subject to duty and/or call on a 24-hour basis during an emergency.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, library science, or public health, and at least two (2) years training/teaching/instructional design experience.
