This position is located in the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) program area within the Public Health Laboratory
Performs operational tasks such as running quality assurance reports, demographic and final report corrections, data monitoring/tracking and CLIA responsibilities. Assists the LIMS Administrator with special projects, such as validations, development in test and production environments for new laboratory tests, and training opportunities. Assist the LIMS Administrator with troubleshooting the LIMS, including working with the vendors and DPH IT. Assists Laboratory staff with LIMS requests. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in a related medical or scientific discipline; or an associate degree or equivalent training in a related medical, scientific or technical discipline and journey-level work experience in a related field.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements: Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, partners and co-workers both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications
