Our client is looking to add an Entry Level Actuarial Analyst to their benefit calculation team. This candidate will work with team to ensure accurate and timely completion of all types of benefit calculations for clients. Most of these calculations are for public pension clients. The candidate would be responsible for performing and reviewing calculations and learning the business and the progress from there. The types of benefit calculations include retirement, disability, death and terminated vested calculations. Additionally, there are buyback and QDRO calculations.
Ideal candidate will be a fresh college grad who's looking to break into the business. Learn the ropes and then ideally grow into a leadership position after a couple of years. These future responsibilities could include managing deadlines and workflow, implementing new clients, etc. Ideal candidate will be someone with an interest in pursuing actuarial exams and someone who can work out of one of the client's office locations. The candidate will use Microsoft Office products, Proval and PensionSoft as part of their daily responsibilities.
