What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Production Assistant/Retail Associate - Lancaster, PA position at S. Clyde Weaver?
This position is a blend of food production duties and retail sales. Shifts available Monday through Saturday; NO SUNDAYS. Employees receive great benefits, free lunches, employee discounts, and the opportunity to work alongside some really awesome people.
Food Production Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with fulfillment of food production orders
- Prepare, weigh, and package products
Retail Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner
- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products
- Differentiate between products, helping customers compare and contrast flavors, textures, parings, etc.
- Answer all customer questions and address concerns
- Make helpful suggestions that will be useful to the customer
- Handle all transactions with accuracy
- Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience
- Train/operate food service equipment (slicer, chipper, etc.)
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of retail experience desired
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Salary : $15 - $18
