We are looking for a Retail Associate to support our East Petersburg Store. This position provides support to the store and café teams by assisting with food and beverage service to our customers. Store hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm. No Sundays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers promptly and with energy and passion
- Ensure high-quality products are fresh, ready, and available
- Prepare and pack ready-to-sell products and stock displays
- Prepare and serve specialty drinks, coffee, subs, wraps, etc.
- Routinely clean and maintain all assigned areas
- Adhere to safe food handling procedures
- Assist with opening/closing procedures
- Routinely clear and clean cafe tables
- Sweep, mop, take out trash, etc.
- Help clean dishes and equipment
- Follow all safety and health procedures
- Accurate use of POS system
- Foster teamwork
- Engage in cross-training opportunities
- Complete assigned duties, checklists and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of retail and/or food service experience desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing and personable, customer service mindset
- Reliable and punctual
- Quick learner in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with POS system desired
- Available to work flexible hours
