CodeRVA is a regional high school with 15 partnering school divisions. The mission of CodeRVA Regional High School is to prepare a diverse population of students for college and careers in computer science through personalized, integrated, and applied learning. General Statement of Duties
To provide instructional leadership to support the educational mission of CodeRVA Regional High School and to function as a member of the school’s executive leadership team.
Essential Duties
Provide leadership in the absence of the Executive Director
- Provide leadership in curriculum implementation, selection of instructional resources, and coordination of all academic subject areas
- Provide supervision and professional development for all instructional staff
- Coordinate Instructional Team meetings for all instructional staff
- Complete walkthroughs for instructional staff
- Assist Executive Director in coordination of Teacher Workweek
- Coordinate Recertification process for staff
- Coordinate New Staff Induction
- Coordinate Ninth Grade Academy transition program
- Coordinate Summer Session Schedule (with Student Services Specialist)
- Coordinate Driver’s Education program for students
- Coordinate Parent-Teacher Conference Day schedules
- Coordinate First Week of School procedures for teachers and students
- Coordinate Flex Day activities for students
- Coordinate all student Field Trips
- Maintain Student Supply Lists
- Maintain Faculty Handbook
- Assist in the maintenance of all aspects of the Learning Management System (with Computer Science and Technology Specialist)
- Coordinate the creation of the school’s Academic Calendar and related calendars
- Provide support for all Yearbook-related activities (school pictures, etc.)
- Provide support for student-related Clinic programs (CPR skills testing; activity waivers, etc.)
- Assist the Executive Director in writing and maintaining school grants
- Supervise students in non-instructional time as needed during the school day and during evening events
- Assist in the implementation of community facing events (Open Houses; Back to School Night; etc.)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years teaching or leadership experience in a public or private school setting
- Postgraduate Professional Certificate preferred
- Endorsement in Administration and Supervision preferred
- The ability to speak Spanish preferred

- Minimum annualized salary - $76,536.51(The salary for this position will be prorated based upon the official start date).
