Senior Commodity Professional

Job Duties :

• Providing complex structured, risk management hedging solutions for seamless trade opportunities afforded by market and internal data
• Executing transactions, using a mixture of methods and in a manner consistent with our best execution and risk management practices, as well as our policies and procedures
• Meticulously tracking and managing the P&L impacts of trade positions to maintain optimal levels of risk
• Developing and enhancing over time an in-depth understanding of the risk management associated with hedging a physical commodity position and the financial and accounting implications associated with the hedging process
• Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating curated market and sector information and ideas that lead to improvements in risk management processes
• Developing and maintaining expertise on market structure : liquidity landscape, electronic trading, industry and regulatory developments, and technology-based solutions
• Establishing deep relationships with trading counterparties, supply chain partners, and other stakeholders
• Periodic review and reporting of current book of business against the market dynamics to assess risk now and in future
• Continuous improvement of our processes : Identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies, optimize market access, and mitigate risk
• Organizing and analyzing large data sets to be used in management of physical commodity positions
• Ensure adherence to commodity commitment processes and systems to support specific product and commodity demand
