Duties
- Lead the planning and implementation of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Jonas for effective project tracking.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs accurately and ensure financial feasibility.
- Utilize Bluebeam for reviewing plans, managing documents, and facilitating communication among team members.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage contracts related to electrical projects, ensuring all terms are met and documented properly.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential challenges.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices and contract management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and contractors.
- Ability to work on-site at construction locations as required.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices is essential.
