Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our company. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and a commitment to problem solve. The Office Assistant will be responsible for various tasks, including data entry, proofreading documents, and managing phone systems. This will sometimes be a position where you have to think outside the box to complete tasks. With that being said, we are a growing family business that are flexiable in some areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Creating job reports.
- The most important responsibility would be the ability to order supplies for our company.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
- Employee communication and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge with construction and basic equipment preferred but not required.
- Previous experience as an office clerk or personal assistant is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Strong phone skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
