Your expertise will shape environments for our 1-bedroom 8-plexes, 2-bedroom 4-plexes, and 3-bedroom 4-plexes using pre-cast concrete innovative technology.
As an Interior Design Architect, you will collaborate with other architects and engineers to integrate interior designs that align with SCDC's mission, visualizing, designing and executing plans.

Qualifications:
Only candidates with unrestricted U.S. work authorization will be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design or similar.
10 years of experience in interior design / architecture related projects, multifamily, townhome and/or pre-cast concrete building experience is a plus.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
Previous experience in interior architectural design, project management, and/or construction oversight.
Knowledge of latest trends in Class A apartment design strongly preferred
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including experience coordinating with external firms or stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with world-class firms and internal teams seamlessly.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices, green infrastructure, and emerging interior design / architecture trends is a plus.
A portfolio showcasing completed projects and design expertise will be requested for all candidates.
Additional Details:
This is an on-site role.
We do not offer remote or hybrid working opportunities.
This position is in Downtown Houston, Texas 77002.
The salary range is between $78,000 - $130,000 per year.
Full-Time Benefits: After completion of a probationary period, you will be eligible for full-time company benefits.
The ideal candidate must be available to start within two weeks of acceptance date.
