Job Summary:
The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for coordinating co-op programs for the company and will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. The Marketing Assistant will also be responsible for managing relationships with co-op partners and ensuring compliance with co-op program guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with co-op partners and ensure compliance with co-op program guidelines
- Coordinate and execute co-op programs, including tracking and reporting on program performance
- Reconcile statements and ensure correct payments to vendors are made, credits are received and record transactions in business system
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials, including print and digital collateral
- Assist with the planning and execution of events and trade shows
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in Excel
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Experience with co-op programs preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills/positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to travel as needed
Preferred Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Knowledge of Agriculture
- Experience with Canva or other design
- Preferred experience with email marketing
