Job Descriptions:
As the public face of the company the Sales Consultant is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services the company offers. Our Sales Consultant is expected to be continuously updating the knowledge of the company products, services, and policies.
Complaint handling is a critical part of this position. Turning a frustrated customer into a happy customer, while adhering to company policies, requires a combination of empathy and tact.
Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays.
Sales Consultant Responsibilities:
- Greeting customer, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service
- Managing financial transactions
- Achieving established goals for themselves as well as the store
- Directing customer to merchandise within the store
- Increasing in store sales
- Demonstrating advanced products knowledge and sales knowledge
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor
- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts
- Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures
- Generates new leads by finding new target markets and penetrating them to drive sales (outside leads)
- Follow up with any past clients or missed clients continuously to generate new leads
- Follows up with any client to make sure that they are satisfied with products and services
- Understands how to make products appeal to consumers based on their environment and current trends
- Works with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies (upcoming)
- Attending any and all training opportunities that are provided by the company or manufacturers
- Providing the company with any requested information or feedback that is requested in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
