Rate of Pay: $23.00 - $50.00 per hour
Summary
A CNC Programmer possesses the skill to Setup and Operate CNC Lathes and / or Mill Equipment. Works with no immediate supervision and can produce timely results for the tasks assigned to them. This position requires a highly skilled individual with the ability to perform their duties to the highest standards. Capability to prototype from sketch or blueprint using the software and equipment available. Advanced levels of CAD/CAM capabilities, Mastercam and SolidWorks preferred. They can also interpret blueprints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Knowledge and ability to perform the Operator 1, 2, 3 and Machinist 1, 2, 3 duties.
- Read and understand the following company documents: Quality Policy, Safety and IIPP Manual, Employee Handbook, and Company Policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.
- Practice Safe Machine Operation best practices.
- Read, understand, and work according to Work Instructions and Work Orders as necessary.
- Understand and demonstrate Lean Principles; work to create an environment of continuous improvement and efficient productivity.
- Manufacture, Design/Redesign, Re-sharpen, improve all Lathe/Mill cutting tools.
- Setup, Operate, turn over a CNC Lathe and/ or Mill part.
- Knowledge of all multi-Axis equipment.
- Ability to program 3 & 4 axis machines.
- Design and manufacture complex fixtures for Lathe and Mill.
- Design form tools.
- Able to Trouble-Shoot.
- Recognize and trouble shoot all machining problems.
- Experienced in the machining of most materials.
- Willingness to share knowledge and techniques with less skilled employees.
- Continues to acquire knowledge including leading-edge manufacturing techniques and applications.
- Oversight of current manufacturing and machining processes.
- Participate in Research and Development experiments.
In addition, an experienced Programmer Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to trouble shoot and solve complex manufacturing challenges
- Full knowledge of all multi-axis equipment
