Senior Fixed Assets Accountant - Remote

Reports to Controller

What systems and software do you currently use for accounting and financial reporting?

ERP - Infor FSM Cloud suite; MS Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe PDF for reporting

Can you describe the size and structure of the accounting team?

Financial Reporting and Accounting team has 1 Director (reports to Executive Director and Controller), 2 Managers, 1 Team Leader, 4 Senior Accountants, and 2 Staff Accountants

What are the specific expectations for the Senior Accountant in the first 6 months? We need an experienced accountant who can quickly adapt and start contributing.

Below are key expectations:

• 1 week – one week to familiarize with our processes and systems
• After 1 week, expected to process capital assets with some guidance
• After 1 month, expected to process capital assets with minimal guidance
• After 1 month, expected to meet the number of projects to be capitalized each week

Important: Ensure all work aligns with company's policies and accounting standards

• Assist with other general ledger tasks as assigned such as balance sheet account reconciliation, month-end close journal entries and account variance analysis

·Prior experience in capital asset accounting, including general ledger accounting (account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end account variance analysis)

· What type of accounting would be preferred?

Capital assets accounting (and experience in general ledger accounting including but not limited to journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliation and

month-end account analysis)
