- Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers providing information on ordering and delivery times, etc.
- Safely load, unload, and deliver hardgood orders and cylinders containing compressed gases; return empty cylinders for refilling.
- Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
- Performs routine maintenance on truck and keeps truck clean in accordance with company policy and lessor requirements.
- Sort incoming cylinder loads by product type and cylinder size.
- Assist in building loads for outgoing inter store branch deliveries.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge and experience
- Class A driver’s license
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrakes endorsements
