What You'll Do
- Cost accounting for 19 branches
- Reconcile bank and other balance sheet accounts
- Back up Accounts Payable: data entry, run AP aging, research, and prepare checks for mailing
- Back up Accounts Receivable: data entry, customer statements, and research
- Assist in Accounts Receivable systems implementation
- File multi-state sales tax returns
- Perform weekly payroll duties in iSolved
- Record payroll in the General Ledger
- Research projects in leasing, tax, and insurance
- Administration of Fixed Assets
- Month end reconciliation
- Month end schedule preparation
- Assist with audits
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- You have 2 years of relatable experience
- You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- You have knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
- You have payroll experience
- You have an understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
- You are able to correctly prepare tax reports
- You are proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and QuickBooks
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- You reside in the Indianapolis, IN area
- You are familiar with iSolved's payroll system
- You have experience in field services industry or similar
- Competitive Base Salary of up to $65,000
