Interior/Exterior Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards. The Painter will work on various projects, including residential and commercial spaces, and will collaborate closely with other tradespeople.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying techniques.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of painted surfaces.
• Perform caulking and fixture installation as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while working on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter in residential or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and application techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform construction estimating.
• Familiarity with frame carpentry and basic welding is a plus.
• Experience with caulking and fixture installation is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other tradespeople.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
