What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer - Site Design position at S L A M Collaborative Inc?
The SLAM Collaborative (SLAM) has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our office in Orlando, FL . The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience and have experience in civil / site design. For consideration, candidates must have earned an ABET Accredited Civil or Environmental Engineering degree and at minimum possess an Engineering Intern (EI) certification, preferably a PE license.
SLAM Civil Engineering in Orlando has provided site design for large and small projects at Walt Disney World for over 20 years. In the past 10 years, SLAM was the civil engineer of record for some of the largest attraction level projects at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios parks. This opportunity should be of special interest to someone that wishes to provide civil engineering site design within a theme park environment in addition to other projects located around the country in our nationwide practice.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Collaborate with staff to advance project objectives
- Develop and express strong planning and design concepts
- Produce creative solutions that solve technical problems in harmony with project design objectives
- Translate design concepts into AutoCad Civil 3d CAD based technical drawings and specifications
