Position Summary:
The Business Analyst 5 will play a critical role in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. This individual will work independently and collaboratively to formulate technology-driven solutions that align with strategic goals. The role demands extensive experience with Infor systems, Lawson versions, and BSI-Tax Factory.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business systems and user needs; define requirements to support business strategies.
- Lead and support implementations and upgrades for Infor Global HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Leave modules.
- Develop functional and technical specifications for reporting and data warehousing.
- Assist in the development and deployment of business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and reengineering through technology.
- Prepare solution options, perform risk assessments, and conduct cost/benefit analyses.
- Document business processes, system functionality, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to propose and implement reporting and data solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 16 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related IT role.
- Experience with multiple Infor Global HR/BN/LP/Payroll implementations.
- Hands-on Infor Version 11 application upgrade experience.
- 15 years of experience with Lawson Versions 8, 9, and 10 for:
- Human Resources (HR)
- Benefits (BN)
- Payroll (PR)
- Absence/Leave (LP)
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- 3 years of experience with Infor CloudSuite, especially GHR and Payroll.
- 15 years of experience with BSI-Tax Factory.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and client-server concepts.
- Experience in RFP development, financial analysis (ROI, cost/benefit), and solution design.
