We are looking to onboard a compliance BA with our team in US. Preferred location is Chicago or Seattle (or other locations if the candidate is very strong).
The candidates must have hands on experience with biofuel regulation in US and have good understanding of the rules and what it means.
JD and requirement below - experience in the biofuel compliance is very critical for this role.
Bachelor s/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in biofuels compliance, with expertise in RFS and state fuel programs (LCFS, CFP, CFS).
In-depth knowledge of EPA regulations, RIN markets, LCFS credits, and fuel pathway certification processes.
Strong analytical skills with experience in regulatory reporting and data management.
Familiarity with biofuel feedstocks, production pathways, and life-cycle emissions analysis.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with regulators and industry stakeholders.
Proficiency in compliance software and data management tools.
Experience working with biofuel producers, traders, or obligated parties.
Knowledge of voluntary carbon markets and sustainability reporting.
Certification in regulatory compliance or environmental law is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
