About the Role:

We're looking for a passionate Junior .NET Developer to join an innovative public sector development team. You'll help build and maintain web-based applications that improve digital services and accessibility for end users across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop web applications using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and MVC frameworks

Utilize OData APIs to streamline backend functionality and UI interactions

Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and object-oriented programming standards

Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures

Conduct end-to-end testing, identify bugs, and troubleshoot effectively

Collaborate with QA, UI/UX, and Business Analysts to deliver functional features

Participate in Agile sprints and manage source code using Git/GitHub

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree (or near completion) in Computer Science or a related field

6 months of experience with:

C# (v7 ), ASP.NET (v4 ), .NET Core (v6 )

MVC, OData (v3/4 )

JavaScript (ECMAScript 5 ), jQuery (v3 )

SQL Server (2016 )

OOP principles, modular coding, end-to-end testing

Strong analytical and communication skills

Self-motivated, fast learner, and comfortable adapting to new tech

Must reside in North Carolina and be willing to commute to Raleigh occasionally

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM environments
