We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of all industrial equipment, machinery, and systems. This role requires a proactive leader with expertise in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and team management.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities :

• Providing a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with governmental safety and environmental regulations.
• Ensuring that the Maintenance Department has the necessary manpower, competence, skill, and knowledge required in order to achieve operational availability targets.
• Ensure training is provided for Maintenance Electricians, Mechanics, and Technicians as required in order to attain our operational, safety and environmental goals.
• Ensuring that Predictive / Preventative plans and instructions are available and complied with for all key manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Ensuring that all Predictive / Preventative Maintenance activities and checks are performed as planned.
• Maintaining adequate supplies of materials and components to minimize downtime on all key manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Ensuring that all required records (Environmental, Safety, Facility, and Equipment) are accurate and created in a timely manner.
• Ensuring Audits and Inspections (Safety and Environmental) are performed as required and at times personally performing them.
• Lead continuous improvement activities including process innovations, employee development. operations strategies. and other activities.
• Provide input and prioritization to process improvement plans and support their implementation.
• Champion 5-S activities within the Maintenance Department.
• Drives continuous improvement through effective corrective / preventive actions.
• Maintain communication with all DPI functions to provide a leadership role in maximizing customer service both internally and externally.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. The individual must also have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, regulators (Local, State & Federal) and those that report directly or indirectly to them. Good communication skills both written and oral are essential to perform this job successfully.

The individual in order to plan and organize the activities, negotiate with, delegate, and motivate others must be detail orientated, display good judgment, patience, self-confidence, and act decisively.

The individual should also have the knowledge of database, spreadsheet, design, and word processing software, together with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardized practices do not exist. An individual should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and show the initiative to perform with only minimal supervision.
