As a Construction Materials Engineering Technician , you will primarily work outdoors testing and inspecting materials such as soil, concrete, and asphalt to ensure quality and safety. - Project and Document Analysis : Comprehend project specifications before fieldwork; precisely document observations and test outcomes related to construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and other relevant materials.
- Metafield Application : Effectively handle and input data using field and laboratory information systems.
- Tool Maintenance : Ensure field and lab equipment are calibrated and comply with industry standards.
- Special Inspection Monitoring : Adhere to International Building Code (IBC) standards for testing and inspecting construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and other relevant materials.
- Stakeholder Interaction : Communicate with management, contractors, and clients to report project progress and address any issues.
