As a Geotechnical and Construction Materials Project Manager, you'll lead complex projects, mentor team members, and collaborate with leadership to ensure the success of geotechnical and construction materials testing initiatives. With opportunities for operational leadership, this role offers a clear path for professional growth within a rapidly expanding office.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Project Oversight: Manage the execution of geotechnical and construction materials testing projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality standards are met.
- Client Collaboration: Partner with clients to understand their goals, tailoring services to exceed expectations and foster long-term relationships.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Support and guide engineers, project managers, and field staff, promoting a culture of excellence and growth.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand our presence, build local client networks, and drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and review complex project proposals, reports, and recommendations that meet industry and client standards.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in geotechnical or construction materials testing, including project management.
- A minimum of 4 years in a leadership role with a focus on team and project development.
- A strong understanding of ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards and experience with IBC Special Inspections.
- Preferred: Experience managing projects in rapidly growing markets or leading multi-disciplinary teams.
