Your Role: Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced
What You'll Do:
- CWI Role: Leadership, Testing, and Fieldwork Responsibilities: Lead and guide technicians on complex projects, manage assignments, make technical decisions, conduct lab and metals testing, and perform fieldwork, including climbing structures over 200 feet with fall protection.

Site Operations: Conduct inspections and utilize non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, such as ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle testing (MT), to ensure high-quality standards.

Project Coordination: Oversee and manage testing assignments across multiple projects, ensuring each project's success.

Equipment Care: Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, manage field and lab inventories, and participate in quality system audits.

Detailed Documentation: Create thorough reports to communicate inspection findings and test results.

Field Safety: Perform field inspections, including ascending steel structures like buildings and cell towers, using fall protection gear for safety.
The position will require 50 hour work weeks (during periods of peak workload), as well as off-shift and weekend work, as required. Experience in Safety, DDC, NDT, and Radiation Training, including the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems is a plus.
What We're Looking For:
- You have a High School Diploma/GED
- You have a minimum of 3 years of NDT/NDE metals testing experience OR an associate degree in a closely related field
- You are an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- You have achievement of ASNT Level II certification per ASNT-SNT-TC-1A in at least one method
- You have additional certifications, a plus:
- ICC certification in Building Inspections and/or Structural Steel Inspection
- Level II for UT certification
- Level II for PT, MT certifications
What to Expect:
You are willing and able to perform the physical demands of this position with the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment such as:
- Ability to climb heights over 200 feet
- Working outdoors the majority of the time in varying weather conditions
- Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs, (field/laboratory samples and equipment)
- Traveling out-of-town (typically overnight) for assignments as necessary
- Working outside of normal business hours when necessary
