As a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will plan, develop, coordinate, and direct large and important hydrogeologic investigations or projects of major scope and importance. You will serve as a technical expert within our Energy Markets, including nuclear, waste management, mining, power generation, and more. This role requires extensive experience with services such as site characterizations, hydrogeologic studies, technical, permitting, and compliance support of facilities, groundwater and surface water studies, and leachate and gas assessments. The position is based in our Charlotte Ayrsley location and will serve clients within nuclear, waste management, mining, and power generation facilities.

- Project Leadership: Lead projects from start to finish, managing client communication, proposals, field operations, and financials.
- Field Investigations: Execute detailed field investigations for complex projects.
- Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive environmental reports, permit applications, and work plans.
- Proposal Management: Take the lead on proposals involving unusual size or complexity.
- Mentorship and Engagement: Mentor junior staff, maintain client relationships, and actively engage in professional industry organizations.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Geology
- You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- You have experience in nuclear and/or waste management markets, a plus
- You have your Professional Geologist (PG) license in North Carolina
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; and ability to meet deadlines
- You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, and able to learn commercial software applications
