Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to a family member in our home. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a private home setting. Background check may be required.
Duties
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
- Assist with heating up and serving meals.
- Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Provide transportation to doctor’s appointments as needed.
Experience
- Must have driver’s license, insurance and clean driving record.
- Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or caregiving is required.
- Experience with safe lifting/transferring practices is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients with mobility needs.
- A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care in a home setting is essential.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.77 - $17.26 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
