Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations within our Day Habilitation Center. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our consumers receive the highest quality of care while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work or nursing, with experience in managing teams and developing care plans for individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within the center, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Manage and support staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for consumers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate services and support for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments of consumer care and staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee budgeting processes related to operational management, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among staff.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by consumers or staff promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Social Work, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management within a healthcare or retirement home setting.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Proficient in budgeting and resource management.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact compassionately with consumers and families.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Pay: $13.41 - $15.26 per hour
