Responsibilities & Impact:
Bring an immense cultural shift by introducing DevOps as an organizational change agent where silos are broken down with a culture of collaboration and communication to deliver higher quality products to the market within a shorter time span.
The challenge will be reducing the "time to market" for products without compromising quality, by leveraging automation and innovation. You will use a wide range of technologies and have the opportunity to interact with different internal teams.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $140,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

- This role will involve understanding the technical design, development and implementation of scripts to support Performance Engineering standards and build improvement solutions aiming for performance optimization.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards during the performance testing of applications, identifies areas of strengths and weakness.
- Ensures on-time delivery of work including monitoring of external and internal dependencies, all activities are accurately recorded and reported.
- Ensure optimally performing production applications by establishing application and transaction SLAs for performance, implementing proactive application monitoring, alarming and reporting, and ensuring adherence to and measurement against defined SLAs.
- Analyzes, designs and develops performance specifications and scripts based on workflows.
- Demonstrate outstanding flexibility and leadership with communication of performance test result interpretation and explanation to both IT and Business Users.
- Understand systems environments like shared resources, components and services, CPU, memory, storage, network, etc.
- Create Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) infrastructure and processes to run QA performance scripts.
- Understand DevOps requirements to support performance engineering Strategy against enterprise-wide application & bring them to CI/CD platform.
- Participate in Daily Stand-up Calls, works closely with the stakeholders to know the deliverables and commitments of each release.
- Actively taking part in resolving critical infrastructure issues and coming up with solutions to mitigate the same.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Qualifications
- 12 years of strong hands-on scripting experience in performance testing & engineering.
- SME in LoadRunner/ VuGen/ LoadRunner Cloud platforms
- Experience using Splunk for application monitoring & creating dashboards
- Experience in working with Docker infrastructure, preferably AWS EKS
- Experience with at least one scripting language - Python / Java Script
- Exposure to other load testing tools / platforms - Jmeter, Gatling
- Solid experience in assessing the performance, scalability, and resiliency of large-scale web applications, Desktop based applications, APIs, and backend services
- Ability to create application performance test plan based on project requirements.
- Ability to interpret results of performance tests and identify improvements.
- Experience in defining Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) & strategy to achieve NFR
- Experience collaborating with cross functional global and remote teams with diverse backgrounds
- Should be a self-motivated, result-oriented and excellent team player.
- Should be able to work under a competitive time frame and deliver.
