About the Role:

The Team:
Agile Practices is a team of dedicated professionals supporting our critical technology systems while fostering collaboration and innovation. We guide our teams and stakeholders by implementing agile practices, driving solution design, and creating long term value to our customers.

Responsibilities and Impact:
Act as servant leader and coach, guiding the team and organization on agile values, principles, and practices to empower the team to embrace self-organization and drive continuous improvement.
Facilitate Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous delivery of value.
Manage risks, dependencies, and remove impediments while fostering an environment of collaboration, self-organization, and accountability within the team.
Partner with global stakeholders and Product Owners to align on priorities, ensure the readiness of features and user stories to enable the team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning by encouraging experimentation to optimize the team’s ability to deliver value effectively.
Collaborate with peer Scrum Masters and RTEs to share knowledge, enhance agile effectiveness, and drive agile maturity across teams and the organization.
Foster transparency by clearly communicating team progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, building trust and alignment across all levels.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe with the ability to coach and teach others on agile practices and frameworks.
Proven ability to facilitate collaboration, remove obstacles, and drive continuous improvement.
Servant leader who empowers teams to self-organize, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and transparency with both the team and stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment.
Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to guide teams through agile events, foster collaboration, and ensure productive discussions that drive progress and alignment.
Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment with multiple product portfolios.
High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong relationships, empathize with team members, and foster a supportive and inclusive team environment.
Ability to navigate and mediate disagreements effectively, ensuring a constructive and collaborative environment within the team.

Basic Required Qualifications:
5 years experience leading teams as a Scrum Master
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks and impediments
Team-first, servant leader mentality

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Certified SAFe Scrum Master or SPC
Certified PSM or CSM
