Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA (Onsite - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays / Remote - Mondays & Fridays)

Hourly/Contract Rate: $40- $45/hour, depending on experience.

Travel Requirements: 30%, including some weekends for events.

Summary:

We are looking for an innovative, results-driven Senior Event Marketing Specialist to spearhead the implementation of our client’s event marketing channel strategy. This position requires a blend of creativity, outstanding leadership abilities, and superior project management expertise. In this role, you will be instrumental in negotiating and executing pivotal sponsorships, while also guiding key brand initiatives within the event marketing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of Event Partnership strategies, including negotiating contracts, managing relationships, planning events, and executing activities on-site.
• Partner with the event marketing manager to project and monitor financial budgets associated with event collaborations.
• Take the lead on both in-person and virtual event activations.
• Play a key role in the strategic planning of event partnerships to ensure they align with the overarching brand marketing objectives.
• Assist the event marketing manager in crafting the annual event marketing roadmap and in evaluating KPIs and progress toward established goals.
• Develop compelling storytelling strategies for event partnerships, collaborating closely with essential internal and external stakeholders from concept through execution.
• Coordinate the Apparel MRA process for sponsorships and activations.
• Collaborate with creative, social media, and digital teams to guarantee that event partner assets are integrated, and storytelling is consistent with the brand narrative.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 5 years of professional experience in an event marketing role within the retail apparel industry.
• Proven record of 5 years in creating and executing event marketing channel strategies.
• Experience leading the execution of event partnership tactics, including contract negotiation and event planning.
• Demonstrated responsibility in negotiating and strategically executing key sponsorships.
• Proficient in forecasting and tracking budgets related to events and partnerships.
• Proven ability to support event marketing managers in developing annual roadmaps and tracking key performance indicators.
• Strong storytelling capabilities with experience strategizing opportunities for event partnerships.
• Familiarity with the Apparel MRA process for sponsorships and activations.
• Experience collaborating with creative, social media, and digital marketing teams.
• Significant experience in the retail apparel sector, having worked for a leading apparel brand.
• Strong collaborative experience with creative, social media, and digital marketing teams to ensure integration of event partner assets and storytelling alignment with the retail brand.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% for national events, including some weekends.
