Helper/Laborer

Job Title: Helper for technicians. (TV Installations, CCTV, and Security Systems)
Overview: We are looking for an eager and dependable helper to join our team of TV installation and security system technicians. This role offers hands-on support for various technical tasks involved in installing, setting up, and maintaining televisions, CCTV cameras, and other security equipment. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn on the job, assist with manual tasks, and ensure the smooth and efficient completion of installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist TV and security system technicians during installations by preparing work areas, unloading materials, and providing tools and equipment.
• Support the setup of televisions, including assisting with wall mounting and connecting to necessary devices.
• Help with the installation and wiring of CCTV cameras, security alarms, and other security systems.
• Provide assistance with testing and troubleshooting of installed systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, packing up equipment, and managing tools.
• Safely transport materials and tools to and from installation locations.
• Assist with drilling, cable management, and mounting tasks under the supervision of technicians.
• Handle customer interactions with professionalism, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed as appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining inventory levels of tools and materials, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a technical, hands-on, or installation role is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, or electronics is a plus.
• Comfortability with using basic hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks with precision.
• Strong work ethic and reliability, with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to manage physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and working in various environments.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for travel to job sites.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
