Job Description :
The Product Specialist will provide desktop and end-user support for the Department of Labor & Industry (DLI), supporting approximately 4,000 users, with a primary focus on the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR). The role includes troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying assistive technology software and hardware, ensuring smooth IT operations in the Harrisburg central office, district office, and remote OVR locations.
Responsibilities :
- Support and troubleshoot assistive technology tools (e.g., JAWS, Zoom Text, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Duxbury, Kurzwell, Fusion).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including braille printers and A / V equipment.
- Manage incidents and changes using ServiceNow.
- Deploy and install workstations, and perform software and hardware diagnostics.
- Support O365, Windows OS, and other desktop software.
- Configure and support VPN, active directory, and workstation imaging (MDT / SCCM).
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist users in resolving technical issues.
