Associate Auditor, Risk Advisory - Conshohocken, PA

S.R. Snodgrass is looking for an Associate to join our Risk Advisory Group, which specializes in internal audit and regulatory compliance for financial institutions. This opportunity provides candidates a thought-provoking deep dive into the inner workings of community banks and credit unions. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, and a willingness to learn. Since industry regulations frequently shift, we need an incumbent who can adapt to changes in scope and procedures. Responsibilities

• Perform internal audit and regulatory compliance audit services, including fieldwork, for our community financial institution clients, and prepare a variety of reports in accordance with the firm’s established policies and procedures
• Assist with various other audits and special projects to meet client needs
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and keep firm management apprised of fieldwork status
• Work independently as well as with a team
• Daily travel to and from client sites is required, with approximately 25%–30% (out of town travel is less than 20%)
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (accounting degree preferred; finance, business, and other fields will be considered)
• GPA 3.0 or greater is preferred
• Banking experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically
• Ability to be flexible, especially regarding scheduling
• Highly organized with good time management skills
