Job Summary:
The Assistant Automation Maintenance Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse automation equipment and systems. This individual will assist in developing and implementing maintenance procedures, managing the Automation Maintenance staff, and collaborating with DC Operations leaders to achieve optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of automation maintenance procedures
- Manage the Automation Maintenance staff across North American facilities
- Collaborate with DC Operations leaders to optimize performance
- Solve operational issues with conveyance and robotic equipment
- Hire, supervise, and develop technicians
- Plan and oversee repair and installation activities
- Maintain electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Monitor expenses and budget for Automation maintenance
- Interact with contractors and service providers
Requirements:
- 10 years' experience in maintenance of technical systems
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Through understanding and experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Familiarity with drafting and understanding blueprints
- Excellent organizational and leadership ability
- Able to work overtime/flexible hours
