Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. This role involves working directly with customers to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and ensure their appliances are functioning optimally.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Utilize electrical schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within appliances.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct equipment repairs and perform routine maintenance on appliances to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Assist in the delivery of appliances as needed, operating a box truck safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for operating delivery vehicles.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
