We are seeking a Financial Analyst to help drive improvements in standard costing processes.
This is a full-time direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $90,000 based on your experience. Plus enjoy excellent benefits. This position is 100% onsite in the Des Moines Metro area approximately 45-60 minutes from downtown Des Moines, Iowa.
Some of your responsibilities as a Financial Analyst will include :
- Developing an in-depth understanding of projects from a process and accounting scope
- Providing analysis
- Revenue recognition analysis
- Understanding the business model and accounting requirements
- Maintaining, updating and monitoring standard cost and system updates
- Supporting monthly analysis, reporting and forecasting
- Leading quarterly cost reviews
- Working closely with team leaders, including supply chain to help inform decisions
- Partnering with manufacturing and purchasing to track cost saving initiatives
- Assisting with annual forecasting process
- Helping drive efficiency and effectiveness through the accounting processes
- Other duties as assigned
