Our client seeks a Mechanical Estimator to determine total cost of a project.
As a Mechanical Estimator, you’ll earn a starting salary of up to $109,000 per year, based on your experience, plus a competitive company benefits package. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm 100% onsite.
Your responsibilities as a Mechanical Estimator will include:
- Researching materials, labor, permits and more
- Sourcing options for materials, labor and permits
- Working with contractors, subcontractors and vendors to get estimates
- Compiling pricing data
- Negotiating
- Maintaining contact/directory with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
- Managing projects
To qualify for this Mechanical Estimator position, you must have:
- Experience with contracting
- Mechanical expertise
- Cost estimating experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to travel
- Computer skills
