Equipment Rental Specialist
Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their needs
- Provide product demonstrations and explain equipment features and benefits
- Process rental transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Maintain accurate rental records and ensure equipment is properly checked in and out
- Inspect and clean rental equipment before and after each use
- Deliver and pick up equipment per customer convenience and schedules.
Hands on equipment maintenance and field service.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth rental process
Skills:
- Basic math: Proficiency in performing basic calculations for rental fees, discounts, and deposits
- Organizational: Strong organizational skills to keep track of rental inventory and paperwork
- Sales: Ability to upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience
- Time management: Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Bilingual: Fluency in English and another language is a plus for serving a diverse customer base will be a plus.
- Product demos: Ability to effectively demonstrate equipment features and benefits to customers
- Retail sales: Previous experience in retail sales is advantageous for providing exceptional customer service
- Cash register: Proficiency in operating a cash register or point-of-sale system for processing rental transactions
