Description
S&S Firestone, Inc. is one of the largest independent tire distributors in the U.S., with over 1 million square feet of inventory. S&S Tire has over 550 employees across 10 Southeastern states, with the business focusing in three business sectors: wholesale, commercial, and retread. We are looking to add an Account Manager to our Shreveport Region, Sales Team.
The primary objective and responsibility of the Account Manager will be the attainment of annual sales and profit objectives in the given territory. The Account Manager will be responsible for overall sales of a given territory and the customers represented thereof. Responsibilities include calling on customers in the territory to provide assistance on program numbers, products, and generic industry information, along with business functions such as adjustment and warranty claims, supply chain needs, and collections if necessary. Desired applicants must be self-driven, available to travel, detail-specific, and able to provide a quality level of customer service. Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager
Job Duties:
- Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained
- Engage with multiple customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty
- Implement strategies for retaining customers requesting to terminate or downgrade their account
- Record changes to customer accounts, update service packages, add accounts, and remove accounts as needed
- Other duties as requested
