Description
S&S Tire of Columbia, SC, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer is seeking an experienced DRIVER. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. Non-CDL candidates will be driving a 22–26-foot box truck.
Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering tires to our Galax location from Columbia; 400-mile round trip
- Depart from Columbia at 5 PM and return at 2 am, Monday - Friday
- Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary
- Pulling and loading tires
Position Includes:
- Starting at $18.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time, weekly pay, with consistent overtime
- Quarterly bonuses based on safety and attendance

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience of a commercial vehicle (over 10,000 lbs)
- Good motor vehicle record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
- Valid driver’s license - in good standing
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift tires and orders
