S&S Firestone, Inc. is one of the largest tire distributors in the U.S, with over 1 million square foot of inventory. S&S Tire has over 550 employees across 10 South-Eastern states, with business focusing in three business sectors: wholesale, commercial and retread. S&S Firestone, Inc. is now searching for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take on an exciting challenge of managing our warehouse in Tulsa, OK.
POSITION SUMMARY
To maintain an efficient and proactive operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions, material handlers and third party logistics contractors. Specific functions include receiving, shipping, physical inventory, route management, bin management while managing the productivity and ensuring the safety and security of the S&S Lexington branch. In time, this position could assume the role of Operations/General Manager in their absence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions
- In charge of shipping and receiving: schedules deliveries to maximize efficiency and reduce expenses, assists in loading and unloading deliveries, coordinates employees in loading, unloading and storing inventory/orders, processes new returns, organizes invoices and Bill Of Landing for shipments. Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.
- In charge of warehouse inventory management: manages monthly cycle counts, identifies inventory issues and corrects them.
- Warehouse management: In charge of warehouse employees: scheduling, training, discipline, ensures objectives are met. Identifies safety issues, and ensures company safety policies are followed. Assists in monthly safety audits.
- Maintenance: Responsible for equipment maintenance (pickers and forklifts), coordinates delivery trucks for maintenance, responsible for cleanliness of warehouse.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) or equivalent work experience
- Experience: Minimum 2 years related experience
- Computer Skills: Must be familiar with inventory systems, point of sale, word processing, spreadsheets, and general knowledge of internet browsing.
- Valid driver’s license - in good standing
- Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
- Able to lift 50 lbs multiple times in a shift
