The Implementation Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating implementation calls, managing end-to-end processes, and ensuring seamless communication with internal departments and external vendors. The ideal candidate will excel in project management, possess strong customer service skills, and demonstrate an understanding of self-funded and TPA environments.
Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Act as the main point of contact for new clients, managing the entire implementation process, including kick-off implementation calls, setting up benefit plans, and coordinating with internal departments to establish new accounts.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Account Management to ensure that groups are successfully implemented, as well as with Operations, IT, Enrollment, Claims, and Customer Service to ensure accurate setup of client plans and claims processing.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare overviews and documentation for new clients, provide training and resources as necessary, and prepare internal status reports to track implementation progress.
- External Communication: Maintain communication with clients to address issues and ensure a smooth onboarding experience, fostering lasting relationships with both clients and brokers.
- Project Management: Utilize tools such as Jira for task management and report on the status of active implementations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience with implementation or operations in a healthcare environment, with knowledge of self-funded and TPA processes.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and project management abilities, with exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Jira is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
