SUMMARY OF POSITION: Ensures the flow of materials (from raw to finished goods to customer) is carried out in the most efficient way possible to meet our customers' needs. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, internal movement of goods, inventory management (storage, labeling, counting, reordering).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

• High School/GED
• 1-2 years' experience in similar position

CREDENTIALS AND/OR SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Straight truck driving experience
• Current CDL License (class C) / DOT Physical certification
• Clean driving Record
• Forklift experience
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Unload inbound shipments while keeping up with production line needs.
• Organization and time management ability
• Oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrate critical thinking and creative ability
• Be proactive about solving problems, perform preventative maintenance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Works well with others and displays a positive team effort
• Stocks machines & work areas with raw material
• Unitizing & preparing loads for shipments
• Loading/unloading trucks by hand as well as forklift
• Records item receipts and prepares DR’s using computer software
• Operates the forklift in a safe manner
• Oversees warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Performs quality control measures, reports damaged sheets
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

• Make deliveries as necessary
• Forklift, maintenance reporting
• Inventory control staging
• Housekeeping
• Assists in other areas and operates other machines when necessary

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees in this position must have the ability to:

• Stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time
• Use hands to finger, touch or operate machinery and handle parts
• Climb or maintain his/her balance intermittently
• Hear and understand speech at normal levels
• Speak so that others may understand at normal levels
• See and read printed matter with or without vision aides

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
